Appearance: Gin is tall, thin, and pale, with short, somewhat messy white hair. A squint obscures his blue eyes, and, coupled with his perpetual smirk, gives him a rather foxlike appearance. He tends to wear plain frock coats over a casual white shirt and jeans, although he tends to wear a number of (stolen) metal bangles on his wrists and a few steel rings. Their cost doesn’t really matter, as long as they’re shiny. He also has a bit of affinity for earcuffs, which carry over to his other forms.
His fox form is pure white, and the only thing that would differentiate it from a regular arctic fox is the fact that it seems to be smirking. His beast form is less muscular than the average werecreature, and is about the same size as his human form at 6’1. He keeps most of the attributes of the fox form in his beast form, as well.
Personality: At first meeting, Gin seems affable enough. Maybe there’s… something slightly unsettling about him. Perhaps it’s the way he keeps dodging the subject, making vague implications, and such is the reason why, but it’s probably that smile. Yes, definitely the smile- you really wish he’d stop smiling like that.
It makes you feel like he’s about to go for your throat.
Which Gin likes. While most of his casual interaction with other people consists of innocent teasing and annoyances, there are times where he enjoys completely breaking the minds of others. This happens more often around the full moon. He has this unfortunate habit of seeing everyone outside of a lucky few as playthings. It’s rare that he forms the sort of attachment that would keep him from seeing a certain person as anything but a plaything, really. He is skilled in the art of deception—although he rarely lies outright—and can talk his way out of many tight situations. He tends to draw conversations away from himself, although one can suspect that underneath it all, he has a rather large ego. The only thing that he really dislikes is boredom- and, well, boiled yams, but he is very easily amused so normally that isn’t a problem.
Abilities/Weaponry: Outside of the usual abilities that come with being a werecreature, Gin is skilled at lockpicking, threading needles, and Cat’s Cradle. His main weapon is a wakizashi, but he’s fairly skilled at making the most out of nearby objects. Smarts are a definite strong point, as he’s quite clever and good at coming up with strategies. He’s also rather fast and athletic in all forms, preferring speed and smarts to brute force.
Weaknesses: It’s rare that Gin goes all-out. He tends to be lazy when fighting, and occasionally underestimates his opponents. Speed is his strong point, and he has the power that comes with being a werecreature, but if a hit lands on him, it hits hard. He also tends to be a bit of a kleptomaniac, which, when he was young and inexperienced, led to some nasty incidents with silver. He is also quite sensitive to sunlight, and he tends to burn easily when in his human form. In all forms he has sensitive eyes.
